Enjoy this new activity, visit the Rainbow Mountain or Palcoyo. Offering an absolutely incredible multicolored landscape, the place is surrounded by beautiful views as well as the area is not very explored by tourists

Starting from the same mountain range, Palcoyo has 3 little-known rainbow mountains. This is where we will take you today to enjoy a unique landscape in a more exclusive way.

Pick up from your hotel or hostel around 7:00 am to head south. After about 2 hours of travel we will arrive at the town of Checacupe where we will make a small stop, you can go to the bathroom, buy water or snack and above all contemplate the three bridges of that beautiful town in the southern valley of the ancient capital of the Inca empire. From there we will begin an ascent of one hour in our transport to Palcoyo, surrounding a beautiful and peaceful valley. There we will appreciate some Andean communities that live only from agriculture and the breeding of llamas and alpacas. This road starts from 3400m to almost 4700m through spectacular rural and Andean landscapes.

Upon reaching 4,700 meters, we will find ourselves facing this wonderful mountain range of colors. Here it is not one, but three rainbow mountains that can be appreciated.

Our walk will be very easy and the road is signposted and there will be a community guardian. The walk will take about 30 minutes to the main viewpoint and about 150 m of unevenness, that is, it is really accessible for any passenger since the walk is very short and easy but it is recommended that you be in Cusco a few days before to acclimatize

We will have time to reach the viewpoint, explore and contemplate the landscape and then return to the starting point where we will take our transport back to our restaurant for our

delicious lunch and then continue with return to Cusco, arrival in Cusco at the end of the afternoon
