Salkantay to Machu Picchu 3 Days/2 Nights


The Salkantay trek is one of the best hiking trips in the Peruvian Andean Mountains. Locals consider this mountain sacred and it’s one of the most significant in the Corillera Vilcabamba. Salkantay is the highest peak in the Vilcabamba mountain range, located at 6272m-20,577ft above sea level. Many tourists have enjoyed the Salkantay trail, its mountains, valleys and high passes. Machu Picchu is north of Salkantay and high above a mountain in the Urubamba river. This trek ends with a visit to the site and a guided tour.

If you are just one person you need to pay extra US$30.00 for the transport to the beginning of the trek but if we find more people or if you ar two or more clients we keep the normal price.

If you have a valid student card or not older than 25 years, the discount is US$ 20.00.

In case you want earlier and direct train schedules to Cusco, ask for availability.

The entrance ticket to Huayna Picchu is optional $ 20.00 if you wish you can ask for availability and we help you book it at the two available times such as 07:00 to 08:00 and 10:00 to 11:00 am or Machupicchu Mountain of 07:00 to 08:00 and from 09:00 to 10:00.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We recommend you buy the tour in advance to reserve your entrance to Machupicchu at the earliest times and you can enjoy more time in the Inca citadel and with less tourist agglomeration.

As well you can hire extra horse, sleeping bag, walking sticks and different type of Hostal or Hotel in Aguas calientes, ask for the extra payments.
